    Shooting Glasses

Might try these on my car windows as well ;)

What toolkit - precision ground screw drivers

This is true, but from experience I would advise the more time consuming route of manual filing, sanding and polishing. Using a machine grinder you will quickly create sufficient heat to mess with the (usually surface-)hardness of the bit, resulting in a bit that is too soft.

What toolkit - precision ground screw drivers

I am not so sure about the longevity of the bits by Wheeler, but the kits are nice and complete. Guns often seem to require non-standard bits, especially flatheads in odd sizes. Having a wide selection of bits and using the right one will help avoid scratches and marring or even chewing up slots...

    Shooting Glasses

The best thing would be to go out for a day's shooting with someone who has several lenses and lets you try them on. At ehm, middle-age, I certainly profit from a few lenses that make the clays stand out against the backdrop. For me, that works with a brown to purple lens on orange clays, and...

Flame suit on - Beretta Barrell livery

I think both the barrel stickers in the e-store are for OU's, despite the orange one lacking that description. Admittedly, this is based on my perception that the SxS crowd isn't as keen to display brand advertising on their traditional heirlooms 😉

Bad News, "it comes in threes"

I will leave it to Bavarian to elaborate on the German rules, but in the Netherlands (next door to Germany and similar in licensing requirements, if stricter) you either need a firearms permission or a hunting permit. The latter requires nearly a year of classes, as well as live shotgun and...

    Immersive Week or Weekend Shooting

If you end up in Spain, I cannot recommend de 'Club de Tiro Jarapalo' enough. (See: https://jarapalo.com/ ) Close to Malaga, maybe a tad closer to Torremolinos still. Good way to combine beachfront and still get your fill of shooting overlooking the landscape down from the mountains to the sea...

    Beretta 694 pfs grip ?

Frankly I was wondering the same thing - I once asked whether a 692 and 694 stock were interchangeable and if memory serves the answer was "no". I'll have a closer look when my mate brings his 694 over, although that may be a while.

    Beretta 694 pfs grip ?

Have you tried the search option? This came up in "similar threads" below and seems to have your answer right there: https://www.shootclayforum.com/threads/beretta-684-stock-vs-680-stock.69392/

    FITASC vs Super Sporting

"fraudulence", "mercenaries", "unworthy mercantile attacks". Surely there is some cultural difference at play but isn't someone forgetting that this is a sport and game we supposedly all enjoy? Sounds to me as though someone is in fear of losing a cushy (paid?) position with a lavish title.

Hull Sporting 100, 7.5 Fibres - Confetti Throwers

Out of curiosity - Is that legal in the UK? At my end of the channel a certificate can be (and in several cases I know of was) revoked for leaving munitions unattended. It has to be kept in a safe, or has to be in the shooters personal possession. If in a bag prior / after shooting where the...

    Understanding shotkam video

There's something to be said about repeated attempts. Even a blind squirrel finds nuts ;). The trick is remembering what the difference in lead was between the hits and the misses.

    Trap / DTL etiquette

Various reactions to the same question sum it up nicely. Wonko was especially eloquent in 2021, #32.

    Recommend me a 20 Bore

Curious as to how you'll get on and whether a modern O/U will appeal at all, and if not what SxS will take to your heart.

Is shooting good for mental health?

My mental health is not in any way in peril. I would say that having a hobby and sport that gets me outdoors, seeing friends, competing, having a laugh and generally enjoying myself (and others, hopefully) is one more thing to be happy about.

    Recommend me a 20 Bore

Another thing that will have changed is the number of options in the world over O/U's. Even in twenty-bore (a lot less common) there's a world to explore. Have a look on Guntrader, select 20 bore, O/U (or side by side) and the world is your oyster. Brands I'd look at given what I know or have...

    Pink Rhino Laser Training Cartridge

How would you use this in a way that's useful for shooting clay targets? I have only used a laser cartridge in the past for quick check to point of aim as compared to what you see over the rib and bead. The alignment issue explained by @Freddypip makes it a hassle (i rotated the cartridge a few...

    Rifled Chokes

I have one, but have yet to pattern it. Unfortunately my home range only rarely allows patterning boards to be put up. I bought it out of curiosity really, wondering if it would improve the pattern for very short shots while still being 'dense' enough for shots on clays out to say twenty yards...
