Booked on for the Saturday at 11am.

I fancy the sportrap too (as I'm there anyway) 2 stupid questions,

Can I enter unclassified as I've never shot it before?

Would it be a good or bad idea to shoot it at 9am before the main event as a warm up?

I'm pretty sure you can enter as unclassified on the day, if you're doing both on the same day then yes I'd say the Sportrap first thing as there'll be less walking involved so you should be done in time to start the main. That is unless you're staying at a hotel in which case you could maybe do Sportrap as a late entry and then have a nice rest ready for the main the following morning?

Personally I would shoot it either after or the night before. We all know how these things never run to time and being stuck with half of the last sportrap layout to shoot at 10.59 is never good preparation :(

Think Im doing Sportrap Sat then Sporting Sunday. Never shot the place before, hope its a good one!

I'm shooting it on the Thursday. Hopefully I can squeeze the sportrap in as well, but I'm not going to lose any sleep if I can't. Never shot Fauxdegla either, so looking forward to it.

I doubt that you'd have enough time to shoot both events close together.

I'm shooting the Sporting at 9am on the Friday then the Sportrap at 3pm later that day; making full use of a break to enjoy the canteen.

I enjoy shooting at Fauxdegla; there's always a good mix of targets and non standards to sort the men from the boys. The only word of caution is the weather - thankfully they're so used to it that they set the targets with that in mind!

Speaking to Mike Faux on Sunday, the Sportrap will be on four of the covered trap layouts and the Sporting will be in its usual place :)

With the weather we are having at the moment, I would struggle to think of a more inhospitable place than Fauxdegla.

For those of you who have never been I would suggest you have a look on bingle Earth.

Fantastic ground and people, but Oh the weather.

Imagine shooting in a wind tunnel with a car wash running at the same time.

Hopefully this current weather will blow it's self out and we will have the glorious summer we all deserve.

Its a nice ground most of it you are shooting out over a moor good target and very well kept. only problem is if the weather if is bad its realy bad cos its up in the hills and can in the clowd. shot there a few times cos its only bout hour n half for me. if the weather is good shud be excellent

Am not booked in yet - looking at Friday for me. I would tend to shoot the Sporting and Sportrap on different days, just to ensure that I am not rushing from one competition to another, and it gives my arms, shoulders and mind a break from concentrating (not that I have been accused of such things!). Thankfully with Fauxdegla you won't need a tractor to get to the stands - so you are always close by if you did intend on doing both competitions on the same day.

I am a little on the biased side when it comes to Fauxdegla, with the ground currently being my 'home ground' and doing a little 'ref-ing' there. Pack a set of waterproofs and an extra layer of clothing just in case. I personally believe that Llandegla has it's own weather system - it can be like the Algarve in Wrexham, yet up on the hills it can be misty and drizzly, or vice versa! This last Sunday I caught a little sun - I was as shocked too!

See you all there!

Sporting Friday @ 3pm - I've only ever shot an A/R there before (and in the worst conditions I've known! I thought my mate was going down with exposure) :(

Decided to shoot this after all, booked on for Saturday at 3pm with Mrs Fuz venturing out into her first major :)

Heading up to wales on the Saturday and shooting the 3Pm slot, Still yet to decide if i am going to have a crach at the sportrap first though.

Might be too longer day!

We're booked on at 11.00am on Saturday looking forward to it !
