A few pigeon pics

I had a couple of good flighting sessions on pigeon and took some pics, sorry for the poor quality as they're off my mobile, thought it was interesting to see the amount of rape inside a pigeons crop. The picture with the rabbit was a FAC air session all shot after a stalk.

An amazing thing happened when I shot one particular pigeon, as I went to collect it a fox jumped from nowhere and went to snatch the bird from under my nose, literally had to shout him off to get his attention. I had already shot and collected another nearby ! :huh:

Nice photos   , i think if you go pigeon shooting enough your going to come in contact with a fox looking for an easy meal .

I had this one walk right past me with a half eaten pigeon while i was standing in corner of a field flighting , while my dad was decoying on the main stubble.
