But Matt, would you really want to use a 'pretty' gun?

To me a gun is a tool to be used, perhaps I have no soul?

Vic.

Very pretty, needs a bit of work tho :D stock needs lengthening and F/XF chokes need to be opened to something more sensible for a 26" barrel, 1/4 and 1/2 perhaps.

Personally rather buy one of these for the money, 2 sets of barrels and a custom fit :D http://www.highclays.com/hpx%20models/hpx-models.html

I have a feeling that if I had more spare money, I might be interested in guns 'just to look at' - I understand the need for tools and utlity guns, but some things are just nice to look at.

I suppose you could put it away for an investment, but such a shame to have it languishing in a gun cab. Temptation to take it out and shoot it would just be too big :D

When you purchase an HPX shotgun, I now under right the sale allowing a 3 month trial period after purchase for you to change your mind and or correct a mistake if it is felt another type would suit better. There is no extra charge for this service other than if there is any difference in price between the first and the second choice or if there were any concessions on the original sale, the difference between that and the new retail price has to be accommodated. This will also from time to time free up a little used gun which I will then offer at a reduced price. So --- buy with confidence. YOU CAN NOT GET IT WRONG.

That is as good a bit of convincing advertising I've ever seen, seeing things from the customer's point of view. :) Had they put write instead of right, it would have been perfect.

Not my cup of tea I am afraid ........pikey look .......all that gold. Prefer plain beautiful marked dark wood with stunning game engravings.

:)
