there is 124 entries to this, (about a third are very pale white, from 'Europe')  they have gentle wind, about 19 to 24 c , and lots of good red wine. hope they enjoy the shoot. I will try to  post any news I hear,,,, from my old club! good shooting to those lucky to be there.

Thanks Jim....any new hot favourites down there that we will have not heard of yet?

so at the close of play, George is tying with two other shooters on a 96,, next is a 94.

will try to get a better report later!

"George is tying with two others on 96,,next is 94, "  I see Costas Halkias has "toughend" up the targets again?

haha,,, yes , looks like hard work in the sun!

actually Costa has no input on target setting,,, or much else these days. (he and monsieur Palinkas share a lot of wine  )

I can say that 5 or 7 years ago the FSP targets were getting ridiculous down there,,i love a long target to test your ability,, but 60m eye tests chased lots of shooters away,, it was decided to make targets a bit more user friendly,,now to the point it's maybe too soft? yes its a big international,, (or was), so needs to test the 'big boys', in line with getting entries from 'mr average' so a good number of 80 plus scores, and a 'c' class guy getting a77 or better, the shooters smile,, they haven't chucked money away, and as long as there are 10 targets that GD and co miss,,well,, it's enough to make it a comp' ,,, not a walkover.
