Another newbie

Just saying Hi.

Started going to a few sporting shoots again after a 23 year break. The last major championships I shot (that I can remember!) were the British Open at Mid-Norfolk and the Colt Car at what is now Royal Berkshire. Happy days!

I've been shooting clays regularly since then but mainly high towers at various pay and play places and clays from my own traps.

Kept up to speed over the years with lessons from Michael Pinker, Nigel Teague, Michael Rose, Carl Bloxham to name a few.

Shot at my local Valley View the other week for the first time since 1990! Shot really well on the high, high tower at Bisley yesterday and had my youngest son show me up on the ZZ at A1 today. I didn't realise how slow I'd become......they need to move that black fence out another 10m for mine to fall into. Just glad I can still beat my sons on the extra long range stuff.

I shoot a 30" Beretta with 3/4 and full Brileys and a 30" Urika. Exclusively shoot Fiocchi (Carl Bloxham's Influence) and I have a great dislike of floppy clays.
