46N, the most popular lens Pilla have made has been discontinued.

It will be replaced by the 44N, which is 2% darker.

I'm waiting for one to see how it compares, apart from being 2% darker.

Amazing...

I wore my new 44N lens at the weekend , very impressed ! Not sure the extra 2% will make that much difference !! Did shoot a PB at both grounds :) magic 2% .....

There will be 46N owners who will buy them `to upgrade` too.

When forced to use my everyday glasses for a while, I couldn't believe how good completely clear lenses are, with photochromic effect (reacts to light). Worked for me after years of clever colours. And that is what my all-new Ed Lyons supplied glasses will be when they arrive!

I certainly don't see them as an upgrade. They are undoubtedly good and the feedback about the original 46 has been mainly very positive but a 2% difference in light transmission to me does not suggest a truly "new" product.

In the same way as I don't see Max Orange 2.0 as a significantly different product to Max Orange (again 2%)

Granted that's all you can get now but not worth changing to imho!
