Thanks for those Skeet..Bloody great!....even better watching with a beer (or two) no wonder Purdys cost so much ! My instructor actually went to the Perazzi factory and had one made for him....so he told me anyway.

Yep, that is one of the great things about a Perazzi.  You can literaly choose what you want on your gun and have it fitted at pretty much no extra cost.

That second video was made by a gun shop in my area, Chris Potters, who are Perazzi dealer.

Very tempting.

Wouldn't it be great to have a skill like that and work in such a place?.. I would have loved to have worked in a guitar workshop or something...unfortunately, I don't have the natural skills necessary for it.

If i could get away with a price of say £100,00 for a 12x12f ft extension on the back of a house  i could build it virtually any way you like at no extra cost !!

Fair point.  Thing is, for £8-10K perhaps less, you can have it how you want it, choose the wood, the lot...not many other places would do that and let you come to the factory to fit it.

What is the drop at comb of these "martin" jobs ???

Well, on a D28; the lower bout is 15 5/8 and the upper bout is 11 3/8, so that would make the drop about 4 1/4 with length at 19 7/8.

A bit nearer would be the nut width at 1 11/16 



I cant split this thread out.  Can another Mod, split this Guitar stuff out to Cocktail Lounge please?  REPORTED.
