Does anyone have any views o these guns, are they good, reliable? anything to watch out for? I have an opportunity for an ASE trap for ok money and thought it a good interim step to find out what i like over the next few years before buying something more expensive/new.

Anything to watch out for?

Its well used by a top trappie (Wes Hann) and whats the lifespan of such a gun?

any advice greatfully appreciated.

It will last you a lifetime, this gun was made in the SO factory not the normal one.If Beretta had continued to make this gun they would have gone broke due to the vast amount of hand work and finishing on it ( its an SO for a lot less money). the only thing to view is sprung side ribs which are easy to put back on for a gunsmith and not expensive. I wish I had not had to sell mine

was yours a trap or sporter?

What was differnet about the barrells? Lighter and therefore more pointy? but what about muzzle flip?

£9k  :yell: , and the barrels are not even 11 bore :???: . I would love one but they are still more money than a DT10 even 2nd hand.

doe anyone know what they cost to fix the side rib issues? and how long?

Silly me i thought it was a trophy and all along its was an airgun pellet :D :D :D

ASE90 is basicaly a SO without sideplate and has a detachebale trigger. So, it will outlast you! If I could buy one at the ridicolous sale price of over a decade ago, I should would of bought it! No need of the overbore barrels of my DT10L as they did pattern well and had German steel!

Henry ;)
