B725 forends interchangeable ?

I have a Browning B725 Black Edition with the normal "Tulip" forend and was wondering if it can be changed to a trap forend from a B725 Black Edition without any need for fitting/fettling ?

When I looked at the standard 725 at the w/Midlands game a few years ago the did the sporter with both options spotter or trap forends

Why do they make the awful looking tulip ended forends. For me they ruin the look of a gun and also feel terrible IMO.

perfectly feasible to swap, but you would need to change the iron work from your sporter forend in to the trap forend as it is a fitted part.

Probably due to the EU, because it is called a 'Schnabel' forend !    :ahappy:
