I thought I might toddle down to Barbury on Thursday for their Challenge (15-19th).

I confess I went last year and wasn't very impressed as they didn't quite understand what a competition required, but hey it's a weekday sneak out, on my birthday! Bit of fun.

If anybody wants to meet up, let me know. GavB is doing it on Wednesday, so hopefully we get a review first..

didnt manage to shoot it today as the weather down there this morning is pretty dismal, good luck tomorrow will

Got soaked so not a great result.

Right, 100 bird 10 stands. Nothing at a silly distance but more of a techical layout. One stand shot from a pigeon hide sat down so be ready for that. Also quite a stiff teal on one of the standsthat requires some attention. A nice layout that left me wondering why I was dropping ones and twos rather than feeling I was robbed by unhittable targets. Warning if you are going to shoot after 6ish in the evening bring some dark glasses. The targets don't fly through the sun but on two stands you would be caught short if not prepared,

Good luck,

Mark
