barrel extentions

Hi guys &gals sorry,recenly purchased aBeretta A 303 in unfired condition the barrel is 27inches and think it would be more pointable with a barrel extention i was thinking of the Gemini range about 2 inches long,i have no knowlege of these extentions and was hoping someone could advise  Regards

A summary might be - a choke extension does not lengthen the rib, the only benefit could be the slight added weight.

For the price of some of these extensions you could probably find a used barrel. ring around gunshops .

h Ayrshire shooting ground are the Gemini importer, they do a 100mm extenstion for £45 + £2.50 p&p, speak to Tom Young (member) on here...

Something to consider with a barrel extension is choke. The extension,I think you will find,is threaded for a choke to be fitted so you now have two threads that can work loose.

If you are just wanting a couple of inches extension then you might consider a Muller or Pure Gold choke that,for Mobilchoke, fitting are at least two inches long and are both excellent chokes.
