Matt had a thread about these chokes before but its been archived so I can't resurrect it with a further question.
I am utterly confused about the chokes supplied as original with my gun bought new back in July of this year. The manual is designed to cover a variety of Berettas but it talks about the barrels being Optimabore with Optichokes with no mention of Mobil chokes which is what I think I have as they are flush fitting and abour 2 inches long.
I have seen a comment on here to the effect that Beretta have not been making guns with Mobil chokes since before 2000.
Have I got a gun where someone has swapped out the proper chokes for Mobil chokes?
There are quite a few 686 e Evo owners on here so could you please advise:-

- what type of chokes came with your gun - Make Mobile or Optima and whether Flush or Extended?
- Do you still use them or have you bought some after market chokes like Teague, Briley or Muller?
- If you have bought others what have you bought and are you pleased with them?
