Hi

Hope people can help. Currently looking at used Beretta's 687 Silver Pigeon S.

Is there anything that I should be looking out for with these ?

Regards

Mark

A very good gun to buy used. Usual stuff, look for cracks in the stock (happens with every brand). Make sure the forend fits tightly and that the top lever isn't parallel to the rib. All curable of course..

You'll not go far wrong with a good one, but I'd say try before you buy. If you can, also try the Miroku MK38 and/or Browning 525 or even a CG Summit before parting with your hard earned.

Good luck with whatever you decide :good:

Pop the forend off and try and wiggle the barrels while holding the action, they should be tight with the action with the forend off.  Really good solid guns though.

Is this about the right price for 687 silver pigeon s which was made according to the dating in 1996 it's up for £995
