Does anyone shoot a A400 Xcel for clays or skeet. Thinking about one but not sure which semi auto would be best.

Thanks

I normally shoot an O/U, but I also have A400 Xtreme with the kick off system. Cracking gun, hardly any felt recoil due to the kick off. Have shot sporting with it, but never skeet. I've never put anything smaller than 28g and 70mm length and, so far, never had a jam.
A few others in my shooting circle have A400 variants, and they also rate them. Bought it primarily as a proper wet weather gun, but I'd be happy shooting it for a registered ESP shoot.

I've got an A400 Xcel that gets used for semi-auto comps. at the Beretta Worlds (as I don't normally shoot a Beretta) and when my proper gun is off being serviced. Doesn't jam, unlike an earlier Beretta semi-auto I had for a while. Had a little issue with it failing to fire, but that wasn't a fault with the gun - I was naughty, didn't clean it properly and the let it without being shot for at least a year so the springs had seized up. Sorted by the local gunsmith in no time at all.
