Need help to solve this issue:
Seniors: please help me out and guide me how to solve this Issue.

Last year I bought Beretta A400 shotgun but after one year in field Upland & Waterfowl my MicroCore Rubber Pad totally damaged as shown in pictures.

I will buy new Beretta micro core pad $49, But is this pad expires every year ?

Need help: How to secure my new Beretta micro core pad ? I don’t want to spend $49 each year on this Beretta Micro core Pad.

Is there any alternative of this Beretta micro core pad, which never expires but performance should be 100% same as Beretta micro core pad ?

Performance & Softness of Recoil is the needed.

Guide me with Urgent reply.

Normal use wouldn't cause that sort of wear unless you're talking of firing 2-300,000 rounds a season. Are you sure this hasn't happened by some outside influence ? Just about any commercial pad will suffice in terms of recoil and wear, just depends what's available your neck of the woods.

I am not sure about the reasons, but is any one below ?

1. Is WD40 oil spray may impact on my Recoil Pad.

2. River Water may impact on my Recoil Pad.

3. Direct Sun Light 4 to 5 hours may impact on my Recoil Pad.

4. Harsh field conditions of waterfowl & Upland may impact on my Recoil Pad. Like some kind of mud, clay & stress on recoil pad may impact ?

5. Any kind of lubrication oil may impact on my Recoil pad.

But my Recoil Pad rubber was very dried & then peeling day by day. now the condition showed in above pictures.

The only thing I could imagine would cause that from the above is oil but why would you have even applied any there ? I suppose it is just possible that water somehow got absorbed into the material   but kind of unlikely. Have you contacted your gun shop, he in turn could call the suppliers. The easiest thing though is to just buy another brand of pad and have it fitted.
