the only people to offer help were coles and gmk. managed to speak to a gunsmith at gmk  but they will only suply to the trade do not have the part in stock and cant get one from beretta. beretta wont answer my mails, coles produce a part themselves ,its in stock  complete assy $90  plus shipping.and if i have a problem they will talk to me via mail or phone . so far excellent service  watch this space for update

Gone up a fair bit in price since I got one from them. But whatever the price well worth it the intermittent jamming is very frustrating. Cole's is very helpful to deal with its a simple 2min job...best of luck

thanks gti

they dont lok like the one i got from coles but if they work thats good

main problem would be the 3-4 week turn round to the uk it took 16 days to get my part ,11 0f those in the uk parcelforce care.

$53 shipping one way

but i got it, fitted it this evening ,it was a doddle. i find this an easy gun to work on .will try it out next week hopefully i can shoot doubles without the no feed problem.

update on 391

got the curved lifter fitted ,got it from coles $90 plus $50 shipping plus £26 for import duty and the customks storing my part for 5 days.

it took 5 days to trave lacross the usa and into uk  and 11 days to go from london to up north and back again down south. part fitted easily and shot 150 trouble free rounds today. first time in a while i have been able to shoot doubles without problems .

i find it incredulous that the original manufacturer totally ignores any contact i attempted to make and anyone who holds stock of parts dosent hold the curved lifter. the one i got from coles looked new not reworked i think they must make these . cheeper and better than buying a new gun this will be the last beretta i buy.  i should have stuck with browning a brand i have had no problems with on any front
