Can someone answer a question for me.  Tony is away working so can't ask him at mo.

I was cleaning my gun and somehow one of the ejectors has got stuck down.  I attach a picture of what I think is the ejector just in case I am wrong.  Can Tony re-set it on Friday night in time for EJC on Saturday or am I going to have to send it away for fixing.  I know he can remove the ejector because I have seen him do it but does this sort of thing happen and get an instant fix?  Thanks.

This happend to me a few times when I had Berettas. It's most likely just got a little twisted. If you know how to take it out, then do so, and it should just pop back in easily enough. If not, don't worry it's almost certainly a simple 30 second job.

Yes I am hoping that is the case.  Thanks for answering.

Sian, just a thought. If the ejector is stuck in it means it's not seated correctly and that it will be under a fair amount of spring tension.

Just beware if you do fiddle with it, they come out super fast and will do you some damage if it hit you. And, of course, you would lose either the spring or the carrier which would bounce off every wall in your house before hiding itself.

Not trying to be sexist, but if you don't know how to remove the ejectors, leave it for Tony.

A further word of warning, wear gloves as the end of the ejectors are very sharp indeed.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get it fixed in no time.

Don't panic, as said above its just got twisted probably while cleaning. Get a cloth over the top of it with muzzle on floor push down a few times at the same time twist it so the edge goes in towards the bottom barrel, its the bottom edge that comes out a bit. Do the above and it will pop back in.

Ps

as said above be careful it doesn't spring out and hit your face, that's what the cloth is for, its your PPE so to speak.

No I bottled it!  I started to try and lost my nerve because it felt like I was having to be quite forceful.  Tony is home tomorrow so he will do it.

All better, a very simple fix done in a jiffy and nothing ricocheted around the room thankfully. :)
