OK so I have now decided that having shot the 24g cartridges I find that to, be honest, my scores have not changed much so I am going to go with them now. My dilemma is I have 1000 plastic wad 28g and 250 fibre wad 28g in stock! Should I just shoot them all and then move over to the 24g or should I get shot of them and just use the 24g from now forward ?

Never thought about doing that Ian I just wondered having made the decision to use 24g would be counter acted by using up the 28's . It is a decision made based purely on results, I can't see any difference in  my scores, I am just as bad with both :) , but controversially the 24g cartridges are more expensive so it has not been done without a bit of thought. I also don't need to bother when it comes to OT one cartridge does both.

Shootinguru surprised you did not ask for payment of €50 plus p&p to take them off my hands :)

You'll not be getting rid of them for a profit so what's the point, just shoot them.

John

i am doing just that. I am on 24g for everything now but like you I had some 28s left so have been using them up in 2nd barrel. Think they have all gone now.

Hammy the way I shoot I get through them quite quickly :) I normally shoot 5 rounds on a Wednesday and use about 175 or so to do it!
