I have been offered surgery for a new lense in my right eye due to cataract problems is there ant thing special I should ask for as a clay shooter ?

Just ask them to optimise the implant for distance vision - in rare cases, you may end up with better than 20/20 vision without specs if it all settles down perfectly.

Often, there is a small residual prescription left over that can be tackled with glasses in the usual way.

Just make sure they don't make it a "reading eye" ;)

Get both eyes done. Get master eye one power stronger to maintain it. Tell surgeon of your hobby as they can set your eyes however you want.

Great op to have, my eyesight was corrected from -5 shortsighted to perfect with master eye compensation due to cataracts. New lenses out can be rotated in the eye to give perfect vision and then locked.
