English Open + British Open , Sunday slot's filling quickly

So did I , and a lot of other's :)  I'm on at 1pm for E/O + B/O

How long will it take you to get to the M4 snipey?

Takes me 3 3/4 hrs to Nottingham SG or 1 3/4hrs to M4-M5junction

Oh right, I have never been to Nottingham; so am looking forward it. In fact that will be my first skeet major after moving over to concentrate on skeet.

My 'local' grounds are southern counties, broadmoor, Brookbank and Gloucester all between 1 or 2 hours to get too. They aren't too bad, looking forward to some better weather and shooting some of the bigger grounds as I'm told the targets are 'different'!

Target's differ , background's differ. I find the target's hard to see on some station's at Brookbank and Gloucester , so have to change thing's to compensate

Couldn't book at all Saturday night after 4 hours of trying, but got on there this morning.

9.20a.m. squad, so got to get up before 4.00a.m. to get there on time for a quick rest before shooting..

All good experience hopefully.. :gamer:

what do you mean , rest? You will have been sitting down for 3 hrs driving there. ;

Driving is stressful when you hate to do it Bryan :spiteful:

Hopefully I'll be a passenger.. :preved:

Hey Ken,

If you want to come on Saturday instead to break up the driving then let me know.

If you have a caravan or motor home (or even a tent), you would be very welcome to stay at the ground on sat night. Or we can recommend some local B and Bs

Give me a PM or ring me at the Ground on Mon or Tues

Julia :)

Just read your reply Julia, and thank you very much for your kind offer..

If I was going on my own, I would go in my homemade camper van and take up your offer of staying on the ground, but I'm going with a mate and he's booked two rooms at a local B&B..  :nyam:

Very kind of you to offer though...
