I ordered choke tubes last Tuesday . They were sent 1st class on Tuesday, today is Saturday and they still haven't arrived. What a great service they provide.

I wonder if they will improve once privatised?

I dare say the price will go up again but there is more competition for them than there used to be.

I wonder if it will be even worse when our post system gets privatised or an improvement. Time will tell.

Don't get me started on a Royal Mail parcel post !! It's gotta be a good thing to get it privatised as its a bloody shambles !!!

1/4 for abt is a big ask good luck with that

Let us know what you usually use and your score with 1/4 & 1/4.

Would be interested to know if your score suffers or improves.

Thanks.
I rarely shoot any trap but fancied having a go tomorrow, which is why I ordered 3/4 + full chokes. Only had this gun a month and only have 2 x 1/4 chokes

As Ian said, 1/4 and 1/4 is a big ask mate! Try some really tight shells and take em as soon as you see em! Good luck mate.

On Tuesday I was tending my lawn out front, Royal Mail van pulls into drive, nothing unusual with that, delivering post.

I go around to the rear of the house for some tools. Come back carry on tending lawn. Acknowledge Postie and say cheerio and off he drives.

Later that day, I pass the front door to see a card pushed through the letter box.

'We were unable to deliver a parcel (too big) this item may be collected in 24 hours from your local parcel office.'

The next day I drove 22 miles to the parcel office and they cannot find the parcel.

"Ah! It's on the van to be delivered."

I drove home, to find a card pushed through the letter box 'We were unable to deliver a parcel (too big)--------

I am now awaiting a reply to a letter to  The Post Master General and an invitation to his parents wedding.

Sent one to France in January which never arrived via Air Sure, which is tracked to the door .....

Contact them and they confirm on the phone the van it was in in France was robbed, all parcels stolen.

Claim form sent in.

Letter back asking for the receipt, which I already said I can't find.

Second letter with copy of their letter explaining to me what happened to it.

Letter back saying they won't pay up as I can't prove I posted it without receipt !

Small Claims forms completed and they are served.

Letter from Royal Mails solicitors defending the claim.

Court case date setup.

Day before court, a call from solicitors offering to pay in full.

2 weeks later a cheque for £93.68 for lost item and costs.

A waste of time for all concerned....

They really are going to struggle in the private sector I think.
