Hate to tell you this Bobby.....but it is not real brass....and there is no Father Christmas

No really, I never realised! That's why they can be picked up with a magnet is it?

I should have used one on all my brass empties from target shooting that we can sell for scrap!:)

Bobby .....darling....get one of your wife's Brillo pads and try scrubbing your cartridge in some hot or cold water and tell me what you find....?

Stop yanking my chain!

I was trying to suggest to Jonny that he shouldn't say that rust was forming on the brass - obviously the point was missed by some!

Just to be clear of course I know that the bottom of shell cases are not really made of brass but the sarcasm also went over your head.

Too much gin tonight me thinks! :)

Mart,

Take the rust off with very fine wet & dry paper to avoid it damaging the breech face.
I prefer Brasso for mine. It makes people think I've gone out and bought new cartridges rather than using up the ones I bought back in the 90's!!  :sarcastic:

This time I'm not joking!!

Was that sarcasm.....?

Make it better next time..!

And.....don't drink gin when trying to be sarcastic....it simply does not work.

You want to do what I did....and give up gin...I did weeks ago......just saying.

Hope you drink it with the wife and not alone

Peace and lots of kisses Bobby
