Another good FITASC shoot at Dartford. Still quite cold but the wind dropped quite a bit today and the sun even came out for a while, although that was actually a small disadvantage on a few targets.

Nevertheless, thought at one time I was going to break into the 70's for the first time, but of course it came and bit me in the arse.

Started off ok with a 19 on Marsh, followed by a 17 on Trench.

Nice bit of lunch, sun came out, all looking good as we wandered off to the Tower layout . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12 !!!  Bugger !

Finally the Platform layout which stuffed me last shoot, but this time pulled out another 18 which I was very pleased with considering the mix of targets.

Total = 66

So here we are again, firmly entrenched in "D" Class, but still loving it to bits.

Off to Barrow Heath next Sunday 10th March for another FITASC.

Also, just for the crack, booked on today for the English Open and GB Selection Shoot FITASC at Hepworth Hall 24th March. Talk about in for a penny . . . . . but should be a great experience anyway   :prankster:

Did anybody else on here shoot it ?

Yep - I shot it, with Bob_P and Woo_P from here... pretty much agree with your assessment, nothing ridiculous out there, but I certainly didn't do it justice.

Sounds like we shot it in the same order.  I went 17, 12, 14, 16 for a 59 - one more than last time.

I had a meltdown on Peg 2 of the Rabbit layout which cost me dear - no idea what happened, just suddenly couldn't hit anything - from that point on, I was always chasing the day.

Not my most stellar day of shooting - but there is always next week!

Good shoot we thought, my scores tend to yo yo between high 70s and mid 60s at the moment. Struggling to get any consistency.

Shot 22, 17, 21, 17 for a 77, so unlikely to get out of D class any time soon.

Still loving the format though & looking forward to lots of Fitasc Sporting this year:)

Thank God for next week. I am clinging to that thought after a rotten day yesterday. (Sorry, for thread hijack; but the principle is the same..)

Well Bob, by my reckoning, your last seven or eight FSP's have given you an average of approx 72 ?

So stop being a bandit and book into "C" class in future (70.4 - 77.5) !!!

haha

:sarcastic:
