Big thank you to Southern Counties on Sunday for letting my disabled friend drive all the way up to the number 4 skeet layout in his car. He has a prosthetic leg and it was giving him some trouble after the slog down to the sporting stands , (they said he can drive to them if he lets them know next time).

We both shot our first time ever on a skeet stand, and I thought it was great fun. I manged to hit 50% average and he hit about 30%. Funny thing was, I could hit the lower one twice as often as the higher, and he was the other way round !

Still my biggest issue remains crossing targets which are at a distance, I am going to need some lessons on them for sure.

All in all we shot 150 each and had a nice day out. We will definitely be going back, as we have yet to try any kind of trap shooting as they were all in use for a competition.

This new hobby is costing me a fortune , anyone looking for a decent mountain bike ? Need to sell mine for more cartridges :)
