It's a shame really though, it's probably going to be purchased by a housing company for the reason someone didn't pay there taxes that's a shame!!

A housebuilder would only buy it if they had a realistic change of getting planning consent to build on it.  Probably unlikely with the designation it has in the recently adopted planning policy for the area.  Dartford are promoting a big site to the south between the A206 and railway line as the focus for future development in the area.

It's designated as a Local Wildlife Site and Borough Open Space in Dartford's development management policies so it's probably fairly safe from development.

Kelly has put a post up on Facebook saying nothing is changing,   Normal service at Dartford.

Isn't it a brown field site and asbestos waste buried beneath it. Sure that was a topic of discussion prior to 2012 decisions.

I've been investigated twice on income tax stuff as a regular chap on PAYE doing everything properly and it isn't a nice feeling - nothing was found in either case.   There are more people in the HMRC than our armed services combined, taking our hard earned cash and wasting it is far more important than protecting the country.

I saw the post on Facebook saying that it was business as usual for the ground.  I hope so - not sure if Kelly (or Scott) are members here - but maybe they can update us.

Have been there a couple of times, and had a really good day out, massive site with lots of different shooting areas, and a great clubhouse with a  good welcome.  It's almost the opposite side of the M25 for me - so not a regular ground, but has been worth the trip for a couple of FITASC Sporting events set by John Dyson.

Given that its one of the bigger and more popular grounds in the South East, I hope that nothing changes at all.  We definitely don't need one of our biggest grounds going down - let's hope its in safe hands.

Business as usual, it was a personal tax case.

The post has truth in it, but not all.

Club is not up for sale and it's normal service.

Contact Kelly if required.

Maybe i am misunderstanding something i believed your assets private or otherwise were at risk for defrauding the Inland Revenue don't think they see any difference if it has your name on it.

That does not mean i am saying the club is in any way at risk at the moment or up for sale,he obviously has plenty of money....same old story.

I really like Dartford.  Had some great mornings out there and I'm going to use it more. It's only an hour-ish from me.

One day a quartering away rabbit shot from on top of the container did for me.....no idea
