Drumtochty Castle

Well I was lucky enough to be invited to a simulated drive at Drumtochty Castle yesterday.  What a great time, I met a bunch of new shooting enthusiasts who were great company, the scenery is fantastic and the shooting was fast and exciting.  I live 1 mile from the castle and never knew about these days (been in the village for 5 years!)  But if you ever get the chance to go I would highly recommend it.

I am surprised you didn't hear the shooting going on at only a mile away, glad you enjoyed it though.

The castle is only a mile outside the village but the shoot is up the hill a good bit away from the castle.  Everyone piles into 4x4s and you drive up deep into the estate grounds.  

I really enjoyed it because you are forced to shoot instinctively, if you try to aim you'll be behind it every time.
