DT10 trigger group

Hi excuse the ignorance.
It appears Lainy's gun has a drop out trigger mechanism..???
Anyway there is a fault with a V spring that needs replacement.
This is on order but it may not be with the gunsmith in time for next weeks selection shoot.
Two questions......
Are the groups interchangeable?
Does anyone have one I can 'borrow' as a get out of jail free card in case the part doesn't arrive in time?

Impossible I have it on very good authority that does not happen with Beretta shotguns Sorry I had to do it but surely they are interchangeable P gun ones are... also I have heard they break every second round of 25

why not have a couple of spares with the gun only takes two minutes to replace a broken spring .. I know I have given it a try just in case it should actually happen with my MX8.

They will fit and work as long as they are the same selectable/ non selectable type. So I believe you can't swap units from a trap gun into a sporter and expect them to work.

So it's a selectable DT10 trigger group if anyone has one spare.
Would be a massive help.

The trigger is with Jim at NASG
The rest of the gun is at Lainy's.

Sorry but am I missing something here? Why have a drop out trigger that you have to send off to a gunsmith to have a spring replaced ? If a spring breaks you want to replace it straight away not have to have a gunsmith replace it! That does just not make any sense at all... in my opinion.

Yes you are missing something
The v spring that's broken.
Lorraine doesn't a) have one and B) know how to replace it.

OK I see but then again it pays to have back up parts they are not expensive and a lightly trained chimp would stand a chance of getting it right to be honest compress spring and flick the retainer over job done !

Hi Jem , a mate had his go on his dt 10 last week, initially he ordered a replacement on the net, I spoke to him today and he's managed to get some from a local gunshop. If your struggling give me a shout and I'll give you the name and no of the shop tomorrow
