Just had a look at your scores...if you take away the two 'soft' home grounds Horne and Greenfields, that makes up 15 of the 18 scores for your averages, you are left with an average of 79.66% or A class sporting. That aside, there are only 4 classes in FITASC, ESP has 5, FITASC is shot over a different format so it's like comparing apples and oranges.
You got a thing about me haven't you James, I am talking in nationwide terms not me but in any case Horne dragged my scores down last year and it is NOT the easy walk over many who never shoot there make it out to be, as for Greenfields being soft I'll pay your entry fee if you manage 5 above your average on their reg layout and that includes your BB for two days.  If you don't I want £200 back in damages and a forum humble pie. ;)

I tend to shoot Greenfields well because I live close by and don't feel out of my comfort zone, show me the guy who shoots crap at his local ground.

It's not the getting into class that counts, it's winning shoots. Some adjust to gun down better than others, on really tough FITASC shoots lots of very good 'gun up' sporting shots struggle more than the seasoned FITASC shots, it's a lot trickier shooting fast, long edge on going away birds gun down when you've not had to do much of it gun down!!! Look at the crying that went on over Southdown putting on a tough shoot...it magnifies flaws in people's ability...
If you believe some of the stories many of the top guys suffer from gun creep at Fitasc but never get pulled on it. I'm not the only person who thinks Fitasc is more forgiving than ESP because you get 2 shots at some targets and are rarely punished 4 on the trot because you come across something you just can't hit as happens in ESP. :hunter:

Can't really argue with that, I have always said I'm a natural A, to get AA scores I have to work hard and be at my peak.

Creep...watched an England junior at the home international last year shoot half a layout, he would mount as he called pull!!!

Well that's down to the ref James!! It's like all sports some get away with it. But I am agreeing with Hamster the top sporting shots can slide into fitasc no probs. I would even bet, only a small amount it will be won by one of the top ESP gents!!

Bit like the recent Stratstone event, were the finalists mainly good game or good clay shooters? Different people will have their own take. GD shot five times as much ESP as he did Fitasc last year, RF appears to have shot no Fitasc ! Would anyone bet against either being in the top ten ?

There is no doubt that George Digweed and Richard Faulds are both FITASC AND ESP shots, even though they may shoot more ESP. As for Stratstone, anyone who shoots compitition clays can't really be classed as 'game' shots...

As long as you want James, just don't time it for just after a shed load of BH tuition.  :)  Their registereds are the first Sunday of each month.

Why would he want a shed load of BH tuition?

He's handicapped enough with the language barrier. :haha:

Quick, If anyone has any questions about Scotland or shooting in Scotland, post now whilst James is at his  most sensible. :haha:

And I believe that he's a nice guy as well..
That is good to hear.  From what i've heard, most of the top shots are very friendly and personable.  Good ambassadors for the sport.

Let me know if this ever takes place. I'd come across from Devon to watch this!!

Does anyone know if it's possible to see non live footage anywhere ?
