I'm after a recommendation for some passive custom ear plugs. There are SO many different makes to choose from,,,,,If it makes any difference for fitting purposes, I'm located in South Glos.

I'm used to basic ear defenders which work fine. However I want to start shooting game with a brimmed hat (rain on glasses issues!) and so ear defenders won't work....

Any pointers gratefully received.

Had a pair from CENS and find them very good. Can also be upgraded to electronic if you fancy paying the extortionate price sometime in the future.

Cens passive for me. Have been worn up to 6 hours at a time, but mostly 2-3 and very comfortable.

Foam plugs as used in industry are possibly the finest protection you can get , they will accommodate variations in changes in the ear canal.

More hygenic also than re-using expensive designer plugs .

Use foam plugs + earmuffs
