I would say Southams is one auction house that you really need to tread careful if you are inexperienced in buying any second hand gun.

And as i have mentioned before guntrade tells me they send all their old crap to Holts.

Holts do two sales every auction cycle.

The standard one sells allsorts -  some of which is TOP quality. I often go to the viewing just to day dream!

The other is a 'sealed bid' sale with viewing that runs concurrent to the standard auction. You really ought to be a proper gunsmith or take one with you if you are considering a bid there......
