I got this in early December and will be attending:
The Hungarian Clay Target Hunting Federation (MKVSZ) and Sarlóspuszta koronglőtér/Pronobiscum Zrt. will host the 18th. FITASC European Compak Sporting Championship on May 24th.-27th. 2012 at „Sarlospuszta Shooting Complex”

Temporary import of weapons for EU, and NON EU citizens
The conditions of bringing in and taking out of weapons and ammunition to and from the Republic of Hungary from European Union member country.
On the territory of European Union for travelling within European Union with a gun and with ammunition, the relevant document is the European Firearms Pass.
The person having the European Firearms Pass, do not need to apply for any other special permit from the Hungarian Police in order to travel to Hungary with weapon and ammunition. But you have to have with you the invitation that you are going to participate at the shooting competition in Hungary.
Based on abovementioned, you just have to print out the invitation from the competitions website and present it together with firearms pass to the customs checking you.
Gun import licence for shooters of non EU member countries:
the organizing committee [email protected] will take care of it upon request of the shooters.

Camping: There are only 10 places available for Caravans / Motorhomes at the campsite. In case you need one please let us know in time. Advance registration is required.
Car hire: All international „Rent-a-Car” Companies are represented at Budapest „Liszt Ferenc” Airport (Herz, Avis, Sixt, Budget, Europcar ...ect...)
