As far as I'm concerned the more lead you can get in the air the better! It was 1oz & 1/8 when I first started and The 1oz was a training load.

I've been using them this season and like them. I can see no appreciable difference in scores from using 28gm.

Then again I appear to be pointing the gun in roughly the same direction as before.

I really like the 24g fibre and have ordered a slab of 21g to try.

I like them also and use the 24g Evos plastic as my staple cartridge.

Mrs jasper also shoots these. regular. Smooth as butter and break any target anywhere.

I've just bought 250 of these in 9 shot for skeet, but haven't used them yet.  I was told these were the old White Gold XLR load.  Dr lecter why weren't you impressed?  What was wrong with them?

tim , they are no cheaper  than 28g  no softer on recoil  and kills were chippy at best ,   ok im only average shot ,   but I cant see any advantage  to be had , surely less lead = less £   .

Should be about £10 per K cheaper and I would definitely rate them as softer than the 28g loading.

Just shows....

I paid £43 from Countryway and the 28s are 45.75 (at the 1000 rate), not a big difference for a kilogram less lead but seems about normal.  As for recoil, kills etc - I haven't shot them yet so you're in a better position than me to judge.  Hopefully I'll get to try them on the 22/8 at High Lodge as a warm-up for the Shootclay Cup.

!!!!!    and they say there is no money in cartridges.   :money:
