Fastest 25 Clays Broken - World Record Attempt

One of the lads off our Forum has just set what looks like a new Guinness World Record (he's just waiting to hear from Guinness) - his challenge was to shoot 25 clays in less than 71 seconds (the current record) - he did it in a little over 57 seconds - here's the video. In aid of Breast Cancer Research

Well done. Wonder how fast it would have been without the couple of misses. Sub 50 secs ?????

The trap cycled every two seconds so 50s is the theoretical best,in reality i couldnt hand off the empty gun and collect the loaded one,shoulder it and make the shot so we had Dom the trapper come of the button then press again as i shoudered the gun,if you dail out the losses 54 second would be my estimate.

well done, great cause too, how about using an auto with someone stuffing shells in from below? Once saw Ray Williams do a two man flush using a remmi 1100 with his brother Steve sliding the cartridges in from underneath, it was great to watch, perhaps with two traps and keeping the gun in the shoulder you could really drag the time down, not sure if it would be acceptable by Guinness WR though!

Guiness say one trap only and two shells at once,would be interested in a gung ho assault on the time just for kicks.
