For those who didn't know; the reason that Richard was not at the Classic this week was that he is in deepest darkest Kansas shooting the US Open.

He has just finished his last course shooting 66 straight to finish on 194/200 and can now not be caught.

Don't know if it is the first time a Brit will win the US Open? but fantastic news!

   :goodjob:   :goodjob:

Mick howells won it in 1996 and 1997,so it has been won by a brit before.

Just had a look at the scores (winscore online.com)194 richard in first, second is 192 but more scores to come in.
