Another top shoot at gunsite today but spoilt by 30 misfires from fblus. Shot fblus for over a year and never had a problem. They all went off but about 30 of them went with a pathetic Pop that really puts you off and sometimes didn't engage the trigger for the second barrell.

Anybody else been havin this problem?

No long time since I used them but never had a problem with them, always found them to be a good shell, that would really piss me off

:fie:  sh*te happens with sh*te shells ! buy some Sportsmans at £149.50 per 1000.

Yes, I bought 1000 when I could not get my usual Hull. 500 in plastic and 500 in fibre. Due to a health problem I have been forced into using my Beretta 303 auto, which I know can be a little ammo fussy. I have suffered more cartridge jams than enough with the gun, something I do not get with Hulls. I tried them through my O/U and found both fibre and plastic to be very dirty and the 'breaks' on clays left a bit to be desired. They probably do not suit my guns so I will not be buying any more. I shot 100 of my usuals through the auto on Wednesday without a single malfunction and looking through the barrel before I cleaned it, I really could have left it uncleaned.

P.S.

I have now turned off my hearing aid off before the bombardment starts !

Had exactly this problem with Power Blues from express. (More like 2 or 3 per 100) Obviously the word blu in the title isn't helping..

Had same with black about a year ago returned them for different batch. I believe there was an issue with a bad batch so maybe yours is old stock. I haven't had any problems since. This doesn't help you of course and I feel for you as I lost targets during the comp I had the bad batch. As You Say a pop and what felt like the shot just rolled out the end.

I had my first FTF with one of my evos last time out  first time in 18 month's

Batch related problems aside, i wonder if theres a BS that applys for cartridges

:santa:

Not had a problem, shot fblue's today, bought 1000 from Blackpool sporting clays a couple of months ago. No problem, have confidence in them to do the job. Shot with some Eley VIP's as well, didn't notice any difference. Good breaks from both when I pointed the gun in the right direction.

I would suggest taking the batch back to where you bought them and change em.

Had two seperate people with issues this week one was top one, the other F blue. Must be a bad batch floating tound

Not had any with Fiocchi recently. Worst I had was about 3 years ago when at an ABT selection shoot a Brookbank. I lost 2 targets due to having more than the allowed failures. Ended up buying a spare box of Hull to finish in the event of having 2 failures on further rounds.

Been shooting Clever T2's for about a year now 7000 cartridges and not one misfire or fail to fire great cartridges.

Phoned them today and they said they were more than happy to take them back and replace them, hopefully not from the same batch though...

I have used F blacks for the last three years and never had a misfire or dirty barrels once in my blaser F3,but I do keep them warm and dry.

I keep my carts in a spare un heated room but my working carton is always in the boot of the car... so I suppose they are cold but hey always leave the barrels spotless and I never had any problems with misfires or failures over about 7k so far to be fair during the summer it is hot here :)

Anyway I am outraged just now because I have just ordered a couple of thou of T2's and the bloody things have gone up by €1 a carton so the are now £ 145.50 / thou delivered 48hrs.

I have some T4 pro extra arriving tomorrow so I should be able to do a bit of a blind test at the weekend to ascertain if I can detect a difference between T2's and T4's... although the way I was shooting on Sunday it was as if I had a blindfold on!
