Fitasc line, look or muscle memory

Evening all, I was looking at some of the videos from the world fitasc the other night and noticed that some of the top shooters were positioning the gun and looking to check the line before every shot and some weren't.

What do most of you do, look to check each time to make sure, or just go on muscle memory?

My line gets lower when you are reffing. 

In answer to the OP - I don't check... maybe at the start of the day.
