For Ashcombe, Devon Shooters - Summer Club Thursday Competitions

Whilst I shoot at Ashcombe I had not realised that they have a summer club which is the princely sum of £20 to join.  Every Thursday night there are 50 bird English Sporting Competitions starting at 5pm on April 10th and ending on September 4th.  There is also a competition based on the best 10 scores per person from all of these summer meetings over 4 classes and classes will be determined from the first 4 shoots by each person.  Cost of the 50 clays for each shoot will be £11.  Minimum of ten shoots or as many as you like but best 10 scores count.

As the place is open on Thursday nights in the summer this might be of interest to holiday makers (Grokels!)

You have that wrong!  Grokels are what Devonians call holidaymakers and Emmets are those referred to by the Cornish!  You can check on Bingle if you like!
