My mate has taken a new keepering job 3 weeks ago, previous keeper haden't done the fox dens or been busy enough with the lamp, so he had the hounds in for a fox drive through a pheasent drive or two...........
11 in the pic, another adult lying dead to be picked, a hard shot fox being looked for and the terrier boys were digging for a vixen and cubs that had went to ground when we left. Never got a shot, I was out on the hill with a 10bore and my 260 rifle, seen foxes getting shot, but nothing came my way.
Also seen two red squirrels on the ground before the drive started, one had an almost completely white tail.
