Evening all,

hope this is in the right place,

what is current situation with travelling abroad with shotguns?

i know you used to have European pass or license, now we have left the EU has anything changed?

do you need one if you are going Isle of Wight or Isle of Man?

thanks in advance

Still using the EU firearms pass, extended that to 31st Dec I believe.  But not every country is the same.  I once rocked up to Sweden and had to leave the gun at the airport while I sorted out paperwork.  Not sure about Isle of Man, never shot there.  Channel Islands have their own firearms laws, Jersey needs a visitors permit arranged in advance, but it is a great place to go shooting (handguns at least).

Isle of Wight is a whole different ball game....  it is in Hampshire.
