It certainly is the growl write up report to follow later

Well shot yesterday Growl.

Knew I should have gone comp instead of birds only.
Didnt you mention on other thread youve not shot a reg before?, If you've not done 3x and got a temp classification and entered comp on the day a class for you would be generated / graded based on a number of stands very difficult to win a class in those circumstances.

I learn something everyday. Cheers for the info mate.
No worries its all a learning curve for me as well, soon as you've done three and you know they are with CPSA request one, from personal experience they do get a temp class to you very quickly, then clean up!

Hi all a short review of grange shoot Sunday, sorry grangefarm sporting clays in desford....huhum.

Set off to my recent usual stomping ground the grange Sunday morning ready to meet the days shooting buddy's namely Simon(s.deaville)Kieran (ginja ninja ) clare(parkie) and her other half Ian, Simon and new shooter ade (ajeman) oh and growl who popped up unexpected, as there were quite a few of us we separated into two groups just seemed quicker to try and get around that way.
Arrival

Station rd just after the pub,

Now I planned to take a couple of photos of the club house but at 8:45 on a Sunday morning all I wanted was some brekkie so I took a picture of my brekkie .......
resuvyna.jpg

Well I couldn't let it get cold... The food here is quick and tasty and the cake is to die for all home made I believe!

Off to shoot now those who know the grange have a bit of a myth going in as much as if you shoot it in order of stands its harder? Well balls to that I can struggle either way round.....

Stand 1
edydu9eh.jpg

L to R crosser R to l I'm not going to recite score cards but suffice to say over the past few months this was the trickiest set up Adam had done for a while.. Couple that with my new gun syndrome I should have packed up and pissed off....... Anyway this was Kieran on 1
Stand 2
Pair of teals on report, hmm should be straight forward.....
2aje9y5u.jpg

Slightly apart and behind one made me miss the other....doh basics ....this was ade having a go
Stand 3
he4uduza.jpg

My turn to be model... Right to left incoming 1/4 midi...bitch .......I don't think in the few minutes I was at this stand I saw anyone straight it followed by a r to l looper
Stand 4 close range going away std blaze with a left to right std between the trees.. Simon in the frame here

I'm going to separate my posts so as not to mess up tapatalk

Stand 5

ade up again for the last stand of the day a driven std and l to r high battue, I hope everyone finds my little review informative and a bit fun I always enjoy myself at grange and never shoot the same targets its just mint.......thanks lads and lasses

Brilliant Steve, well done on the pics and review, enjoyed the shoot (though it was as you say a toughie - overall scores showed that through the classes)

It's always difficult to shoot a very new toy on a tight shoot and they take some setting up, keep at it anfd I'm sure it will soon fall into place, Adam has offered to give you any pointers you need in setting it up to fit you, keep at it buddy.

Thanks also to everyone for their comments on my little win, it was a good shoot and made all the more enjoyable shooting with mates, good day - well shot to Simon as well, great finish for you and Keiran,

cheers all, Growl :hi:

Great write up Steve really enjoyed the day.

Thanks Growl i think the Registered bug might be setting it.

See you guys soon
