Hello everyone,

I’m fairly new to shooting I have had a couple of lessons and then took the plunge and purchased my first gun and now I'm hooked. I'm now looking to do some more regular Saturday/Sunday shoots but unfortunately i know hardly anyone that shoots clays, So If anyone's interested and in the same position as me let me know as I’d be keen to pair up at some people at local shoots.

Thanks everyone,

Jimmy

Hi Jimmy,

Try The Cotswold Clay Club http://www.cotswoldcc.co.uk/Prices-Membership Speak to Nick (the owner) and he will pair you up if you are on your own. That's how I first started there and many others. It's a friendly club and you get to know quite a few other shooters going down this route and finding out who you click with, etc.

Myself and other shooting buddies are down there most Sundays - so likely Nick will pair you up with us. There's 10 stands with 4 remote traps on each - 100 birder.

Hi Barrie,

thanks for the message that sounds good a lot of people have said that’s a good club to go to. I will have to come visit!

A few miles further down the 429 (Fosse Way) is Hollow Fosse clay shoot: https://www.hollowfosseclayshoot.co.uk/

Open every other Sunday and every Saturday. Fibre wad only.

Also 3/4 miles west of Cirencester is Corinium CPSC: http://ccpsc.co.uk/index.html

It's a squadded shoot so you can go single handed. Open every other Sunday to alternate with Hollow Fosse. Okay with plastic wads.
