Hi Guys & Gals,

Just joined this forum and hoping for lots of advice regarding clay breaking.

I am a target shooter at the moment!!

I realise that I am the worst scenario when it comes to learning to break clays.

I tried some years ago but not with a lot of success so consider this attempt as unfinished business.

Thanks for reading this intro.

Cheers

Mike

Hiya Mike. Welcome on board.

I'm just down the road from you in Tamworth which has a nice little club, shooting sporting, skeet (when they get the traps fixed!!) and DTL/ABT (of sorts!). Nice friendly atmosphere, free instruction available and shoot fortnightly. Plus there is a regular (alternative weekends to Tamworth) 50 bird sporting at Lea Marston (nr Kingsbury) and a relatively new club at Whittington (nr Lichfield) which shoots sporting, compac, DTL and skeet on Sundays as well (and Thursday evenings during the summer months). If you are after proper ABT and UT targets then regular comps are held at Rugby & District Trap Club is hard to beat and quite local.

Maybe see you around some time.

DT
