Hi all, after 17 years away from shooting I'm back! I shot a bit in my early 20's but due to work commitments and a lot of travel I had no time to keep up the shooting and surrendered my SGC.
Back in June the missus bought me an hour lesson over at Bisley, as I expected the bug has come back and I'm really keen to get back out there breaking clays! I applied for a new SGC back in July and last week the firearms officer paid me a visit so hopefully not too much more waiting before I can begin filling the very bare shiny cabinet. I've had several more lesson (I think about 6 now) and really enjoying myself.
Thanks for the great forum Admin and thank you to all you members for all the great (and occasionally witty) comments. Looking forward to joining you all in such a great sport.
Phil
