Hicknaham Farm Dates For 2012

Hicknaham Farm is a lovely little strawbaler just up the road from me in Burnham, Bucks - usually a good interesting layout in a wide pasture, decent club house with wood burner, friendly crowd and a decent bacon roll.

Shoot times are 10.00 am to 2.00pm, and we're not sure if it's a 50 or 100 birder this year

Is it score yourself do they have cash prizes?

It is a score yourself - I don't recall prizes last year - very simple little shoot with some decent targets.

I like it because it is 5 mins from my house, and a good run round in between the better registered shoots - for instance, I could do it on the way to Weston Wood or somewhere else I'd like to let the queues die down.

Yes - they do close for the season for ducks...

Then it is a nice area been there a few times on the ducks and shot some pigeons there really nice place!!!

I have heard of this ground but have never visited as I didn't know where it was.

Interesting news I just noticed - the FITASC British Grand Prix is being held at Hicknaham Farm, with targets set by George Digweed. Expensive, but I'd save in diesel, it is about 3 mins from my house!
