It is time to stock cartridges for the coming season.

I shot the Sovereigns last year and was now offered some Pro one. Both 24 g.

Is there any noticeable different in performance between Sovereign and Pro one cartridges???

- apart from recoil!

I was able to test a paket, but only at nearer distances and wonder about the performance at greater distance.

Shooting trap, sporting and fitasc. Choke 1/2 & 1/2.

Never shot 24g of either, but I can't tell any difference between them in 28g loads and that includes recoil

When I patterned them a few years ago, the Sovereigns were definitely tighter. I don't think the patterns were better, so I would stick with Pro Ones and tighten up a bit for very similar result.

Thank you guys,

I'm going to pattern both next time.

I also find the pro one smoother. The different in prices (at my dealer) is not sooo much, about 10%.
