Hi, I am trying to help my friend, Gregg Eacock, who was the English open DTL champion in 1989.

He has been looking for any record of this on the internet but cannot find anything.

Can anyone please help?

I remember Greg from my DTL days, didn't his dad shoot DTL too. The CPSA is probably the best place to start with as they keep, or did records going back many years.  Many shooting magazines have been and gone in the intervening years.  Sporting Gun was in production then and still is now and it's possible they had a shoot report of the event, IIRC it was at Bywell SG, Northumberland.

Someone must still have a copy of the relevent pull mag ?

I probably have in my mums loft, if nobody comes up with anything i will have a look.
