Been recommended Jim today for this service, anyone used Jim and have any feedback?

I know Jim well, he lives up the road from me and I've had lots of jobs done by him over the years. He is a master craftsman who can do the smallest job like fit a pad to make a beautiful stock from scratch.

He is a top bloke and his work is impeccable. I would recommend him without hesitation.

His combs and the recoil systems he also fits are excellent.

Thanks for the reply, to be honest it's what I expected as he was recommended by John Forsey who I trust 100%

I wanted it done quickly I spoke to Jim today and we've decided to leave it till the new year as it would mean switching guns yet again as there's lots of shooting in the next few weeks so i will be meeting  up with Jim in the new year

You'll be well looked after.

Will be in to see him this week to drop in an Xmas card and bottle of Red. I like popping in, the smell of wood and oil in his workshop is awesome and he always has some interesting things on the go, last time I was in he was crafting a stock from scratch for a side by side from a lovely blank.

Being an engineer I like seeing things produced from scratch I could with there and watch it all day long unfortunately our days go at 200mph non stop so there's no taking it in!
