Went to Kegworth today for the first time in a while. I used to do OK here, then started struggling for reasons I don't understand. I kept getting 72, 73 or 74. Forced myself to try and break the bogey today.

I didn't think it was an easy shoot, but nothing silly. One or two tough stands and the rest needed concentration which is my weak point :p

Quite a few edgey quartering and crossing birds and two stands with simo trappy-type birds, where you had to think hard about which way round to take them. Good stuff.

Finished on 81 which I was happy enough with really, given that my last 4 or 5 visits there have all been low to mid 70s

Got a bit windy too, wasn't expecting that. It made life interesting at times, forcing some of the birds to stay low.
