Next Shoot at Kingscote SG is on Thursday 28th December. we will have a new layout for everyone with free refreshments including home made Sausage rolls. Vowells Lane just South of Turners Hill, RH19 4LQ. map on www.clayshootingsussex.co.uk.

We are also starting a 50 bird two layout compact at Gatwick on Sunday 23rd of February with a £50 high gun for the two layouts shot back to back this will also be a re-entry after the two layouts have been shot, free tea and coffee and toilets.

Gatwick venue is end of Hydhurst Lane , RH10 9AS.   This is just south of Gatwick airport and south of Gatwick Manor Hotel. on the old Brighton London road all good and plenty of parking

if this is successful we will continue with this once a month.

Hi,

Yes, until the next Shoot on February 10th,  we have no shoot in January, once the pheasant season has finished we will use the small valley again we also hope to have our new high tower driven in operation.  This gives us a lot more stands most will be down the valley.

We will have a new layout on for the 28th of December an 80 bird is easier to get done in time with the restraints we have to use with all our layout up on that side of the wood.

Looking forward to the Dec shoot Dave and as I can only shoot on Sunday's I cannot wait for the new venue to start.  Happy Christmas to you and Carol.

Hi Donna,

A merry Christmas to you to, yes we have a nice piece of ground for Compact in February, Ground is reasonably Flat but has some good trees and Hedgrows, and streams running through it. However this is good for Compact.

We are going to see how it goes with two compact shoots, the first is on Sunday the 24th of February, then next one on Sunday the 24th of March, people will remember our Thursday nights compact at Shoreham this was very popular, however the Farmer wanted to use the ground for something else so we had to move.

We hope we get the support and if so we can expand it, who knows perhaps a 4 layout Compact on a Sunday.

if people want to see what the valley at Kingscote looks like go to the latest pic on our facebook page Kingscote Sg. We hope to be using this after the end of January.

Excellence shoot yesterday , good target variation to keep all levels of shooters entertained , free hot drinks and sausage rolls was a nice touch and gratefully received as the weather was bitterly cold!

If you have not visited this ground yet its well worth the trip , very attractive topography check out the website photo's
